Warehouse Transporter

Reports to the: Receiving Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that items are being transported in a safest, fastest, and efficient way possible.
• Responsible in ensuring that replenishment of goods is being regularly done on a daily basis.
• Ensures that all Pallet Trucks/Equipment are in good working condition, ready for daily utilization.
• Ensures that all warehouse hallways/aisles/paths are clear and safe for internal transportation.
• Transport palletized items from the Receiving Area to Warehouse Location (ready for picking). Likewise, from Warehouse Area (after picking) to Dispatching Lanes (ready for delivery to the stores).
• Train new team members on the use of the Material Handling Equipment.
• Executes additional tasks that may be asked to do by Immediate Superior.
