DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A WAREHOUSEMAN (Prefab Container and Construction Business)

· Receiving and Inspecting Goods Receive incoming materials, tools, equipment, and prefab components. Inspect deliveries for damage, discrepancies, or defects. Verify quantity and quality of materials against delivery notes or purchase orders. Document and report any issues with received items to the supervisor or procurement.

· Storage and Inventory Management Properly label and store materials in designated areas according to type, size, or project use. Ensure safe and secure storage of high-value items (e.g., power tools, steel components). Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records (manual or digital system). Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
