Job Description

  • Tag and place suspect or defective materials into MRB / Quarantine location.
  • Ensure proper labeling such as Hold, Reject, Awaiting Disposition.

  • Inspect material for damage, expiration, mislabeling, packaging issues, or spec deviations.

  • Coordinate investigations with Quality, Receiving, Production, and Engineering.

  • Continue process approved dispositions:

  • Use as-is

  • Rework / Repack
  • Scrap
  • Return to vendor (RTV)
  • Sort or re-inspection

  • Update WMS/ERP status accordingly.

  • Enter MRB data in ERP/WMS (Infor LNCE)

  • Maintain MRB logs, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and deviation records.

  • Notify stakeholders (Quality, Procurement, Production, program) of MRB status.

  • Track open MRB items and follow up on pending decisions.
