3 Month Contract With A Local Authority Job Purpose To provide an efficient and reliable waste collection and cleansing service across the borough, ensuring the safe operation of heavy goods vehicles and the delivery of high standards of environmental cleanliness. The postholder will lead and support operational crews, maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, and contribute to excellent customer service while representing the Council professionally. Key Responsibilities Operate waste collection and cleansing vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with road traffic legislation and Council procedures. Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure legal compliance and roadworthiness.
