Waste Water Technician

The Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator (Roving Operator or Stationary Operator) is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment and processes used to treat wastewater. This role ensures that treated water meets environmental, health, and safety regulations while protecting public health and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including pumps, valves, filters, blowers, and chemical feed systems
• Collect wastewater samples and perform routine laboratory tests
• Record operational data, test results, and maintenance activities accurately
• Adjust treatment processes to maintain compliance with permit and regulatory requirements
