Water Power Intermediate Engineer - Mechanical

Position Summary

Hatch is seeking a Mechanical Intermediate EIT with an interest in hydro power to support projects within BC as well as globally while working from the Vancouver office. Working closely with senior engineers and designers in our water power business, your primary role will be to act as a technical resource on challenging projects. You will apply analytical, conceptual, research, and planning skills to design mechanical systems for installation, including penstocks, hydraulic gates, balance‑of‑plant systems, and turbine generators.

Responsibilities

• Work independently applying engineering principles to perform calculations for hydro‑mechanical equipment design to support the maintenance, expansion, and construction of hydro projects.
