Water Resources Facility Operator

• Mechanical, plumbing, electrical knowledge.
• Exercising valves, flushing pipelines.
• Reading/testing water meters, maintaining hydrants.
• Grounds maintenance around facilities.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine checks, cleaning (canals, pipes, facilities), minor plumbing/electrical fixes, and preventative maintenance on equipment (motors, meters, VFDs).
• Emergency Response: Respond to malfunctions, work standby, and handle calls during emergencies (e.g., power outages).
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and understand schematics/maps.
• Operation: Start/stop pumps, open/close valves, adjust chemical feed (chlorine), operate gates for irrigation.
