Reporting to the Water Treatment Plant Foreman, the Water Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our city’s water supply and treatment facilities. The role encompasses everything from the city’s water supply to its treatment facilities and the distribution system.

Qualifications Required

• Graduation from a Technology Diploma Program or postsecondary education in a waterworks related field, such as Red Seal certification in plumbing, electrical, pipe fitting, or power engineering certification.
