Wean to Finish Technician

ROLE PROFILE SUMMARY:

•   The Wean-to-Finish Technician is responsible for the daily care, health, and management of wean-to-market hogs in an agricultural environment.


• This role requires hands-on interaction with livestock, adherence to biosecurity and safety standards, and maintaining consistent routines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •    Receive, sort, and care for wean-to-market hogs. •    Administer injections and assist with vaccinations. •    Monitor and maintain animal health, identifying and apply appropriate treatments. •    Implement feeding and nutrition management plan and maintain a clean, safe environment. •    Carry out general facility cleaning, maintenance, as well as hygiene and biosecurity protocols.
