Weather Forecaster I - US Air Force Academy

ASE is looking for a **Weather Forecaster** I to work in USAFA CO. This position is directly responsible for forecasting and identifying weather changes that could impact mission operations and training to ensure safety is a priority. You will work both as part of a Team and solo in an office atmosphere. The workload will vary and may be stressful at times when inclement weather is present. Due to the nature of the position, the candidate can expect to be exposed to the weather elements on a regular basis. Meals are taken in conjunction with the shift and candidates will have access to a refrigerator, microwave, and limited vending machines.

+ Provide weather support to the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), including supporting the single VFR only and fourth busiest airfield in the Air Force, flight and jump training to future Air and Space Force Officers, NCAA athletic events, and activities associated with a military academy.
