Weather Forecasting Operations Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a Weather Forecasting Operations Manager responsible for overseeing the management and day to day supervision of the Weather Forecasting operations for the company’s global team of Forecasters. The role would be based from one of the Fugro APAC regional offices notionally Singapore.

• Project Management of all existing and future weather forecasting contracts, including managing the Client database and setting up new contracts for the duty forecasters, when practical.
• Maintain the weather forecasting division procedures in coordination with the QA manager.
• Create and maintain data collection scripts for chart production and forecaster use.
• Preparation of the monthly forecast work roster.
• Preparation of an annual leave roster for all forecasting staff.
