Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform welding works for spiral steel pipe pile splicing used in jetty construction.
• Execute various welding activities such as tack welding, full welds, and repair welding as required.
• Interpret welding symbols, drawings, and technical plans.
• Ensure weld quality complies with project specifications and applicable codes/standards.
• Conduct proper joint preparation, alignment, and fit-up prior to welding.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other construction personnel on site.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and housekeeping of work area.
• Report welding defects and assist in corrective actions if needed.
