Job Description

Responsibilities
 :Metal core (MCAW) welding on structural steel building components
Operate various welding equipment and tools to weld in various positions (., Vertical/Horizontal)
Set up wire fed welding machines manually using control buttons
Review structural drawings for steel beams, columns, and other building components that form complete structures
Operate overhead cranes to transport workpieces and metal components
Requirements:
Successful completion of pre-employment college program or equivalent experience
Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification (Block 1)
New Brunswick Class B Welder's Certificate a definite asset
1 to 3 years’ experience in structural steel welding
Able to work rotating shifts, 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights
