Welder

Position Summary
The primary role of the Welder is to join finished components in accordance with work instructions and blueprints with TIG welding on various stainless-steel materials. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.
Principle Responsibilities
Ability to weld manufactured parts to print specifications using TIG Welding System
Material verification and the ability to identify various weld materials in order that the proper weld is completed for the manufactured part.
Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
Examines work pieces for defects; measures work pieces to ensure they are within the specifications called for in work papers.
