Welder

Position Summary

The primary role of the Welder is to join finished components in accordance with work instructions and blueprints using TIG welding on various stainless‑steel materials. The role requires accomplishing this within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer‑driven innovation and a win‑first culture while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.

Principle Responsibilities

• Weld manufactured parts to print specifications using the TIG welding system.
• Verify materials and identify the appropriate weld materials for each manufactured part.
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure them to ensure they are within specifications defined in the work papers.
