Welder - Heavy Equipment

R.W. Tomlinson is looking for a Welder to work at our Heavy Equipment shop located on 5151 Albion Road. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the welding and fabrication by conducting repairs, maintenance and modifications. This role does not require welding certification. Expected hours of work are Monday through Friday 6:30AM to 5:00PM. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fabrication of heavy equipment implements

Repairs to any heavy equipment and attachements

Grinding and welding

Cutting - torch and plasma

Welding – MIG and stick welding

Work in a team environment

Meet deadlines/quality standards

Work safely and promote Safety

Be ready to work extended hours when required

REQUIREMENTS:

2 or more years of experience in welding/ fabrication

Able to lift 50 LBS repetitively

Knowledge of mechanics is an asset
