TITLE: Welder I

GRADE: 3

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Perform GMAW welding on carbon steel as required, meeting all quality standards and specifications.
+ Inspect finished parts to ensure weld quality standards are met. Immediately report non-conformance issues to group leader and/or Supervisor.
+ Rotate between workstations as assigned. This includes pilot weldments, repair work, finish welding and operation of robotic weld systems.
+ Interpret blueprints and processes to follow specifications for work being performed.
+ Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
