Job Description

Welder II
Status: Non-exempt (hourly) 
Position Summary
The welder is responsible for the construction of various products primarily focusing on welding and fabrication techniques. The welder will follow the process below in every welding scenario (I, P, W, C, I)
Identify materials to be welded and appropriate welding/ fabrication method.
Prepare and fit materials for welding/ fabrication using grinders, clamps, tape measures, etc.
Weld materials within the WPS parameters per the engineering weld callout.
Clean welded materials.
Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and engineering weld callouts have been met.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
Operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision
