Welder (Leader)

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to meet fabrication and assembly requirements for generator enclosures.
• Measure, cut, and prepare metal parts with precision, using tools such as plasma cutters and cutting machines.
• Perform welding using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to assemble metal components according to design specifications.
• Set up and maintain welding machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Conduct visual and measurement-based inspections on completed welds to ensure strength, quality, and compliance.
• Apply knowledge of material properties and welding procedures in the context of enclosure fabrication and generator builds.
• Ensure all welding activities comply with relevant standards (e.g., AWS codes) and company SOPs.
