Welder

A Welder is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. The role ensures that all welding work meets quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings.



Key Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications

Set up and operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or gas welding machines

Weld metal parts and structures accurately and efficiently

Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy

Perform repairs and maintenance on metal structures and equipment

Follow workplace safety rules and use proper protective equipment

Maintain tools and welding equipment in good working condition

Work with team members to complete projects on schedule
