Welder – Job Description

Job Summary:
The Welder is responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding metal materials to fabricate or repair structures and equipment according to specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
• Perform welding works using SMAW, MIG, TIG, or other welding methods
• Cut, grind, and prepare metal parts for welding
• Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and strength
• Repair damaged metal components and structures
• Operate welding tools and equipment safely
• Follow workplace safety rules and proper use of PPE
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate or vocational course in welding
• With proven experience as a welder (construction experience is a plus)
• Knowledgeable in different welding techniques
