Welder (Plastic or Metal)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder (Plastic or Metal) to join our team at Certact Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang. As a full-time Welder, you will be responsible for fabrication and repair of a wide range of plastic or metal materials, components and structures to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Perform welding tasks on plastic components and structures using appropriate welding techniques and equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the final product meets quality and safety requirements
• Operate and maintain welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues
• Ensure all welding work is completed within the required timescales and to the desired level of quality
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of welding processes and procedures
