Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements to plan fabrication and welding tasks
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Cut, grind, and prepare metal components for assembly
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic processes in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
• Inspect and test finished welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
• Repair and maintain production equipment and components as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
