JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Welding hull blocks, panels, stiffeners & double-bottom structures Follow WPS, drawings & welding symbols Ensure weld quality meets shipyard & class standards Coordinate with QC inspectors & supervisors Follow shipyard safety & production procedures Requirements CERTIFICATION DETAILS Standard: EN ISO 9606-1 Issuing Body: Bureau Veritas / DNV / Inspecta / equivalent Test Piece: Shipbuilding type (block / plate) Certificate: Must be valid Mandatory Certification: EN ISO 9606-1 Welding Processes: MIG / MAG (135138) Mandatory TIG (141) Preferred (optional) Materials: Carbon Steel (FE) Stainless Steel (SS) Aluminum (AL) Positions: PA / PB / PC / PF / PE Thickness Range: 340 mm (MIG/MAG) TIG (if available): 212 mm ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGE VT2 / PT2 certification 6G Pipe Welding (SS) Radiation work qualification European shipyard experience
