Welding Inspectors

to support field operations for projects in the Fort McMurray, AB area. The ideal candidate will ensure all welding activities meet required codes, standards, and project specifications. This role requires a strong on-site presence, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of team.

Responsibilities

Perform welding inspections in accordance with applicable codes and project specifications

Verify weld quality and ensure compliance with required standards

Confirm adherence to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)

Ensure material traceability is properly maintained

Coordinate with construction teams, NDE providers, and client representatives

Support turnover activities and complete required documentation

Review drawings, complete markups, and track progress using digital tools such as Bluebeam
