Job Summary

The Welding Technician (MIG) is responsible for performing welding activities in accordance with approved drawings, quality specifications, and safety standards. The role supports production operations by delivering high-quality welds, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding works in accordance with approved drawings, work orders, and quality specifications.
• Examine and measure workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Identify potential welding issues and propose or implement corrective solutions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, written instructions, and diagrams to meet welding requirements.
• Work closely with the Supervisor to ensure welding activities are carried out in a controlled and safe manner.
• Perform MIG welding and, when required, TIG and other welding processes.
