Fabrication and Welding Responsibilities

· Ensure compliance to DQ HS&E policies and procedures.

· Ensure 6S program is maintained in all workshop and storage areas.

· Providing day to day leadership and management of the Fabrication team.

· Participate in, and where necessary, lead LEAN initiatives to improve operational efficiencies to drive operational excellence.

· Monitor all Fabrication operations.

· Review all WPS prior to work starting and highlight any issues to welders and fitters.

· Ensure fabrication work orders are executed per production schedule.

· Select welding procedures, evaluate, and specify welding repairs and stress relief treatments, to ensure compliance with international and customer standards.

· Review technical drawings and ensure that production issues are addressed by the responsible departments.
