Learn more about this authority at: Direct Hire Authority This Wildland Firefighter (Fuels Management) position is with the US Wildland Fire Service, GW-0456-9/11 working in one of the following location(s): Olympia, Washington Port Angeles, Washington Quilcene, Washington Responsibilities As a Wildland Firefighter (Fuels Management) your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Program Management-Directs all aspects of the fuels management program including planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation. Develops mid- and long-term programs of work which support the unit's/tribe's land and resource management plan alternatives.
