Winding Engine Driver

Kalagadi Manganese Mine is situated in the town of Hotazel 70km from Kuruman, Northern Province.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Communicating winding engine defects to the appropriate supervisor.
• Co-ordinating winding activities with total process requirements.
• Completing of winding engine driver logbook.
• Escalating abnormal operation problems to the Engineer.
• Responding to standard and special code of signals.
• Ensure safe operation of the winding plant at all times.
• Assisting during breakdowns or emergencies.

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
• Winding Engine Driver's certificate (DMRE Appointed).
• Onsetter certificate.
• Good communication skills in English.
