Wiring Harness Design Release Engineer - Hybrid

+ Execute DRE activities on one or more projects concurrently
+ Support Root Cause analysis of field issues
+ Manage supplier deviations
+ Support supplier ramp up – DFM
+ Interface with supplier to drive one-time and high-quality deliveries
+ Lead harness topology and partitioning
+ Package components and collaborate with other systems within the application
+ Identify components during the design phase for the wiring harness – connectors, terminals, wire gauges/type, etc.
+ Optimize harness complexity across product lines to leverage standardization & modularity, where possible
+ Complete electrical connectivity design for a battery system including Wire-list and DEF files for composite harness design, Load analysis
+ Review and anticipate voltage drop calculations circuit sizing
+ In-line connector pin count determination and circuit protection
+ Collaborate with Systems Engineers and BMS Hardware Engineers to ensure all internal and customer-spec...
