Wood Machinist

Introduction

Our company is looking for an experienced Wood Machinist – Panel Saw & Edge Bander to join our dynamic team. The candidate must have experience working with woodworking machines.  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate panel saw and edge banding machine.
• Read and follow cutting lists and job cards.
• Ensure accurate cutting and high-quality edging.
• Perform basic machine setup, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality and correct measurements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric
• 3 – 5 years' Experience operating a panel saw and/or edge bander.
• Code 08 Drivers License
• Must have experience working with woodworking machines. 
• Ability to read measurements and technical drawings.
