Working Foreperson (Christchurch)

We’re looking for an experienced Working Foreperson who can run a grader or excavator and lead a crew on site. This is a hands‑on, lead‑from‑the‑front role working across roading, subdivisions, pavements and drainage in Canterbury.

The Role

Lead a small civil crew and subcontractors on site

Operate graders (sub‑grade, pavement, final trim)

Operate excavators (5–35t+) for drainage and earthworks

Read plans and work to tight tolerances

Run toolbox talks and keep safety and quality on track

Look after your gear with daily pre‑starts and basic maintenance
