Working Student (all genders) Conflict Transformation & Radicalisation Research

Your mission

To support our Conflict Transformation Research department in the ‘MOTRA Expert Panels’ project, we are looking for a Student Assistant (all genders) The part-time position (12 - 14 hours/week) is to be filled from 01 September 2026.
Overview of the position:
Hours: Part-time (12-14 hours per week)
Starting date: 01st September 2026

Duration: 1 year, with the possibility for extension
Location: Berlin, Germany and/or remote
Department: Conflict Transformation Research department 
 
As a working student (all genders), you will be part of our team for conflict transformation research and work closely with the researchers. Your task is to support a sub-project realised by the Berghof Foundation as part of the research consortium ‘MOTRA. Monitoring and Transfer Platform Radicalisation’. The aim of MOTRA is to systematically monitor radicalisation trends in Germany and to strengthen the related knowledge transfer.
