Workshop Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team, Oversee all maintenance, servicing, and repairs of company trucks and transport vehicles Manage the upkeep of plant equipment, processing machinery, and related systems Ensure all machinery and equipment remain in safe and reliable working condition Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime Monitor equipment performance and address recurring issues proactively Supervise daily workshop operations and workflow Allocate tasks and manage the performance of mechanics, technicians, and workshop staff Ensure all work is completed efficiently, on time, and to required quality standards Train, mentor, and develop team members Manage staff attendance, discipline, and overall productivity Manage and respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns efficiently Minimise downtime through quick turnaround and effective coordination Liaise with external service providers wh...
