WUNC Broadcast Maintenance Engineer

This position provides maintenance for North Carolina Public Radios' studios, equipment, automation, AoIP and digital audio library systems. S/he maintains the AoIP network and perform daily/monthly maintenance tasks to keep the facilities running smoothly with minimal interruption. S/he will also be a part of the Technical Directors group, working on production of shows and taking on board duties as needed for recorded and live broadcasts. The range of duties is broad, encompassing anything from replacing a pair of headphones, to setting up a remote broadcast, to installing a new digital console. S/he also spends time traveling to WUNC's studios and transmitter sites in surrounding cities for maintenance or assistance to our Engineer. This position will help bridge IT and Engineering.
