X-Ray Tech(Radiology Tech)

Job Title

Under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director and the Radiology Supervisor, and under the general supervision of the Medical Director of Diagnostic Imaging and the Radiologists provides the Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) performs radiologic procedures per physicians' orders and produces radiographic images according to Radiology Department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

-Transports and positions patients

-Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision

-Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis

-Maintains adequate records of procedures performed.

Qualifications

Must be a Radiology Tech(ARRT). Must be Ohio licensed or able to obtain prior to starting. Will consider new grads.
