Astral, a leading South African integrated poultry producer, has 2 Quality Controller opportunities within County Fair, Epping.

The purpose of the Quality Controller , is to ensure that the product quality, is in line with food safety standards and systems, at all times.

Education:

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous.

Experience:

• Sound Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP requirements and relevant guidelines and Quality Management Systems
• Knowledge of statistical process control

Other requirements:

• Ability to speak English and a second official language;
• Must be able to communicate at all levels;
• Must be able to work in a high pressured environment;
• Proven PME experience in a manufacturing environment;
