Job Description

We are presently recruiting an experienced Yard Operative for a Full-Time position to join a leading provider of building supplies and hardware in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard and stores. Your main responsibilities will include loading and offloading deliveries, checking and storing incoming stock, maintaining a tidy and obstruction-free yard, and operating a forklift.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and offload deliveries.

  • Check deliveries on arrival and store correctly.

  • Maintain stock records and update inventory.

  • Organise yard and stores for easy access.

  • Keep yard and stores clean, tidy, and safe.

  • Operate forklift to move materials.

  • Perform routine checks on forklifts and equipment.
