Year 2 Teacher

Academics is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Penarth. This temporary full time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting young learners and delivering high quality, engaging lessons within a positive Key Stage 1 environment.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, plan and deliver effective lessons, and help pupils grow in confidence as they progress through the curriculum.

Role Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging and age appropriate lessons for Year 2 pupils
* Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
* Creating a calm and supportive classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school
* Maintaining positive communication with pupils, staff and parents
