Youth Camp Recreation Supervisor Role

Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre is hiring a Summer Camp Recreation Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations and enrich youth engagement from June 29 to August 21. Focus on child development through planned recreation activities for ages 6 to 12.
As the Recreation Supervisor reporting to the Youth Services Manager, you will coordinate and lead camp activities designed to promote physical and social skills among participants. Your role includes supporting staff, ensuring a safe environment, and encouraging mentorship among volunteers to foster a collaborative camp atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead planning and coordination of summer camp events
• Coach camp staff through ongoing feedback and expectations
• Conduct daily debriefs to enhance program delivery
• Guide volunteer engagement and leadership development
• Manage safety protocols and emergency procedures effectively
