Your Mission Develops and updates the Silviculture Procedures and ensures implementation thereof by Foresters and Area Managers. Identifies and formulates Best Silvicultural practices for Mondi through relevant experience and current research (through various academic and research organizations) and ensures implementation of the above. Draw up and implement all necessary documentation for use by Foresters in order to execute silviculture operations in terms of Mondi’s standards i.e. Silviculture dockets and implement these through informal and formal training. Manages Mondi’s chemical product applications in terms of FSC and legal criteria. Participates in plant protection working groups such as FABI and the TIPWG. Liaison With Research And Other Institutions Liaises with Universities, research institutions and other external and internal bodies to stay abreast of latest technological developments and initiatives.
